Hey e`ry body!

So, I`m writing early because this Pday (monday), we`re having a giant soccer tournament and yeah . . . I`m gonna try to have fun! lol . . .no, it really will be fun I`m sure. It`s not that I don`t like soccer, it`s that I don`t like competetiveness, so yeah, we`ll see. But it`s weird writing on saturday . . . my inbox is practically empty, lol. Everyone writes on sunday or monday morning, so you`ll all have to wait a whole week to get a response, sorry! lol.

This week has been pretty great. We`ve been talking with people trying to figure out what we can do to help Felicia and her mom (the rat ladies) and yesterday we were able to find her uncle, and we learned more about her mental issues, and the family is SO excited to receive the help they need. His wife came to the counter (we were talking in their store) and he told her that we wanted to help, and she asked, ¨Are you girls Latter-day Saints¨ And we said, YES! And she`s like, I thought so, you guys do a lot of service. And it was SO great to hear that from someone outside the church. Anyway, we`re really excited to help them, because the family has tried to help them, but they just haven`t had the means to do it and with her mental conditions, it`s just been impossible for them. So we`re super excited!

We also had our zone conference with the president, and it was SO awesome. We talked about false spirits that walk the earth, and how we have to be able to discern between good and evil and that comes from being COMPLETELY obedient to the mission rules. It was a good reminder for me. Lately little things have crept into my habbits like, thinking that it`s ok to lay in bed until 6:35 . . . anyway, it helped me to remember my focus and the importance of being EXACTLY obedience. God doesn`t give important responsibilities to disobedient servants. In order to stand firm and carry out the responsiblities God has given us, we have to be firm in our testimony and dillegent in His commandments. To teach us this principle more clearly, at the point, Pres. Erickson transformed into Gandalf and yelled at the top of his lungs, YOU SHALL NOT PASS!!!!! . . . it was great. I really wish I could have recorded it. Anyway, it was a great conference and I always hear exactly what I need to hear to be a better missionary. Also, I`m super excited for next month, because Sis. Erickson makes banana bread for those who had birthdays and I`m not gonna lie, I`ve been waiting almost a year for this bread, and I`m SUPER excited, lol.

I hope you all have a great week, and I especially hope you all have a wonderful Mother`s day. There are so many exemplary women that I have in my life, and I look up to SO many of you. My mom, grandmas, aunts and other women who have influenced me throughout my life. Thank you so much for being in my life! I love you all!

Love,
Hna. Hulse
